XCC에 아답터 버전 정보가 제대로 안보일때 해결방법

서버에서 HBA 나 RAID 카드를 업데이트 후 XCC에서 버전정보를 확인하는데

업데이트 버전이 아닌 이전버전이 계속 나올때는 아래와 같이 해결이 가능합니다

 

증상

When adapter firmware updates are performed in-band (by OS) without using OneCLI, the updated firmware level will not be reflected in the XCC. This can be observed with any adapter that has its own firmware (e.g. NIC, HBA, Raid card, etc.)

This is a permanent restriction of applying updates in-band.

 

아래는 해결방법입니다

이 문제는 어쩔수 없는 제한된 아키텍쳐라서 버그가 아닙니다 위 방법중 쉬운 방법으로 하시면되는데 그냥 AC 파워 사이클 하시면됩니다 전원 빼야합니다 그냥 리부팅은 해결되지 않습니다

reason : This is a limitation of the system management architecture. If updates are performed in-band without using OneCLI, then the XCC has no notification that changes occurred and will fast boot the system, skipping unnecessary UEFI driver loads.
