Automatic Server Restart (ASR) 기능이란?
서버가 사용중에 덤프에 의해 다운이 되었을때 자동으로 재시작하는 기능입니다.
기본값은 255초에서 리부팅이되며 풀메모리 덤프가 떠질경우 너무 오랜기간동안 지체됨을 방지하기 위해 기능이 동작합니다
서버에서도 기능을 지원해야하며 DRIVER도 설치가 되어있어야합니다.
The restart timer defaults to a value of 255 seconds. If a system with a large
amount of memory is configured to perform a complete memory dump in the event of
a system failure, then the default timeout value may cause the system to restart
before the memory dump is complete. To set a customized value for the restart
timer, run the IBM IPMI ASR package with parameters as shown below, where XX is
the current version of the executable package, and ZZZZ is a numeric value between
250 and 3200 representing the number of seconds following a system failure before
the server is rebooted.
